Eligibility & Requirements
A registered apprenticeship certificate is mandatory before joining us. Also, speak well in the English language while dealing with staff and customers. People may perform the following tasks in a quick manner;
- Responsible to install, maintain & servicing gas heating units & their parts
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Estimate costs and materials
- Able to work in a mechanical & service company to perform required work
- Good communication skills
- Time management & interpersonal skills
- Test & replace defective equipment/components used at the field
- Supervise at least 5 to 10 people and give different duties
- Possess gas fitter trade certificate, WHMIS, Level 1/ A, Level 2/ B certifications
- A valid driving license is mandatory for this job
- Advise clients regarding standards and safety features
- Maintenance of gas units and related systems
- Test and adjust control mechanisms & check pipes and piping connections
- Check pipes for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices
- Study drawings and specifications o determine the layout of the installation of materials needed
- Focus on what the client needs and perform accordingly
- Showing dependability while performing any activity on a daily basis
- In company premises, smoking is not allowed due to danger
