Eligibility & Requirements
No degree is mandatory for these vacancies but having good English spoken skills. Also, having 3 to 5 years of working expertise in the same profession. Perform the following responsibilities to make sure all work is running smoothly;
- Responsible to erect & install scaffolding, falsework & related working platforms
- Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as required
- Perform job site calculations and maintain working schedules
- Excellent communication skills
- Deal in a professional way with all clients who visited the worksite
- Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
- Also, position & secure steel bars in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
- Read and interpret maps, drawings, and specifications
- Dismantle metal, pre-cast concrete/ laminated timber buildings & other structures
- Inspect structures and equipment for deterioration and defects
- Moreover, test structures/ failure to comply with specifications/ regulations
- Help in the demolition and rehabilitation of older buildings/ bridges
- Join steel girders, columns, and other pieces for structural frameworks
- Heating, cutting, bending and installing new structures
- Measure and cut metal parts to exact specifications
