Eligibility & Requirements:
The candidates must have a Secondary school graduation certificate with a WHMIS certificate. Also, having a First Aid certificate, Class 1/ A driver’s license, etc. Moreover, excellent speaking skills in the English language. Having 1 to 2 years of experience in the same field is required. So, people must have the following skills;
- Perform preventive maintenance & brake adjustment of vehicles
- Operate and drive straight/ articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Also, load and unload goods
- Traping and ensuring safety and security of Cargo
- Moreover, record cargo information, hours of service, fuel consumption & distance traveled
- Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect brakes, light, cold storage, and other equipment
- Must check pre-trip and post-trip inspection & check all aspect of vehicles
- Ability to driver Tractor-trailer
- Having communication system experience i.e onboard computer
- Should have a valid license of Heavy Duty Vehicles
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
