Eligibility & Requirements:
Candidates must have a high school graduation certificate with good English and Arabic speaking skills. Also, having 1 year of working experience in the same field. People who are willing should possess;
- Responsible to operate equipment i.e cargo and belt loaders, lift trucks, and loading system
- Also, inform supervisors of any issues with cargo activities
- Ensure that cargo is distributed in a manner that maximizes space
- Create and submit daily reports of cargo handling, loading, and unloading activities
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are needed
- Determine both quantity and orientation of assigned cargo items & compute the aircraft’s center of gravity
- Moreover, calculate weights for different airplanes cargo departments using charts and metrics
- Accompany the aircraft as part of the crew to ensure that cargo is kept safe during flights
- Take work orders from supervisors and determine which aircraft have been assigned
- Lift and carry all cargo items from dollies to the airplane cargo area
- Ensure that all items are properly stacked and secured
- Conduct a survey of assigned cargo including passenger’s luggage
- To conduct loading or unloading work
